Resting is different than being stagnant
I don’t know if my body knows the difference
It was never allowed to rest
And that became the way I navigated success
One day on a bed was considered laziness
And my nervous system would go into a state of frenzy
But not working does not equal lazy
Does not equal good for nothing
Does not equal not productive
Constant production equals exploitation
And I doubt you want to be the cause of your body’s suffering
