I want to announce that I’m on Tik Tok!
Lord, it has been a long time of debating with myself. Do I make a video? Do I not make a video? I’m scared! Have some courage! Ugh, do I really want to put myself out there. Yes! No! Yes! No! Eff it!
This literally went through my head because I HATE bringing attention to myself but it’s too late now. I am a poet and everything I write is related to me and my experiences. It’s way too late! lol
I did say that this year, I was going to put myself out there more. So here is proof!

I’m about to follow you on tik tok. I had this idea of also putting my poetry out there in tik tok world but I’m too scared.

Awesome! Yes, I totally understand. It took me a little over a year to post. It was scary but after posting, one gets used to it. It’s interesting because I wish I could just write my poems and hide sometimes but that’s not how it is for poets. I HAVE to be vulnerable in order for me to share my poetry or there is no poetry.
