My empathy is back
So is my kindness
I look to love more than I do anger
Even if anger still lingers
I am able to give once again
Source can see me
And I’ve seen what Source has done for me
I am grateful
I didn’t know if I’d ever feel empathy again
I didn’t know if I’d ever be able to come back to community
I had to rethink and assess where kindness came from
And those that loved me, even when times were tough deserve the same kind of love
I’m glad I am now able to reciprocate
Love really goes a long way
