I can buy and buy
All the clothing items I like
All of the necklaces and earrings
And makeup I don’t even use
The room decor that’s supposed to tell me and others who I am
The eclectic decor
The unique and vintage and french and old
But none of these things make a difference
Because if inside I don’t feel whole and secure
Then everything I own will just be a reminder
Of everything I’m not
