You’re taking me for granted

And you see me slipping away

And you’re panicking because you’re noticing slight inconveniences

Because I’m stepping away

And soon you’ll realize that the comfort you’ve felt hasn’t been because of you

And then you’ll have many challenges

I used to solve them for you

I know you’re not going to do well emotionally

Because I know what I bring to the table

And when I take everything that is mine 

You’ll have next to nothing 

That’s because I opened myself up and let you take what you wanted

And you took almost everything 

Except my self-respect
