I’ve written poems about dancing
Poetry and dance are my two greatest loves
These past few years I’ve dedicated myself to writing everything my voice wouldn’t say out loud
But this upcoming year, I dedicate it to dance
My neglected love
I will shower my body with new music and I’ll move like never before
I’ll start slowly because my body has changed and quarantine didn’t help
Eventually I’ll feel like the dancing Queen I used to be
Eventually my body and feet will move effortlessly and my smile and laugher will be permanent
